Hi! I'm Zulkaif Riaz — an Azad Writer, which might be two of the most contradictory words in modern-era literature.
I write things that make people think, feel, question, or occasionally wonder why they clicked "Read More." Blogs, stories, personal essays, random thoughts, and the occasional descent into existential territory — if it has words, I'm probably interested.
I don't particularly enjoy corporate jargon, polished-up fluff, or writing that says absolutely nothing in a hundred impressive-sounding words. I prefer things that feel real. Relatable. A little messy, perhaps. Whether it's a heartfelt personal essay or a snappy listicle, I like my writing fresh, honest, and capable of saying something.
I describe myself as an Azad Writer — a writer who anchors his pen in intentions, lets a few ashq bleed behind the ink, and somehow ends up writing controversial words that are occasionally worthless, distressing, and full of contempt.
Make of that what you will.
In person, I'm a shy introvert. On paper, apparently, I'm considerably more offensive. I'm also a tall, largely unproductive guy who spends an unreasonable amount of time reading books, drinking coffee as though it were a profession, and overthinking sentences that probably didn't need that much thought in the first place.
I forget things. A lot.
Names. Tasks. Why I walked into a room. Occasionally, what I was about to write.
But not this time.
Maybe I'm just trying to prove this wasn't AI-generated.
Or maybe I'm threading the void.
Or maybe...
...I forgot what I was going to say.
Anyway, welcome.
Read something. Think something. Feel something. Disagree with me if you must.
Just don't blame me for the coffee.
